International conference: Volunteering as an Educational Opportunity – Service-learning in Youth Work and Schools
The conference took place on March 23-24, 2022 in Banská Bystrica.
The conference aim was to promote service-learning in formal and non-formal education and increase awareness about the role of service-learning concerning the development of the young generation of leaders of change. The conference's objective was to spread knowledge, share experiences about service-learning practice, and network with different stakeholders. The conference was designed for teachers, youth workers, students, and community partners interested in service-learning and presented outputs and results of the project international project EDUVOL. The conference was attended by almost 100 participants from all over Slovakia, Croatia, Hungary, Poland and Romania.

The fourth project meeting was held online on January 25 and 26, 2021, due to measures related to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The fifth project meeting was held on November 16 and 17, 2021, in hybrid form. The meeting aimed to evaluate pilot activities within the project and outputs testing, based on the testing of the results, make their final adjustments, and plan the multiplication event of the project - the final conference.
The second transnational meeting on the EDUVOL project took place on 4 and 5 March 2020 in Poland, in Warsaw. The aim of the international meeting was to jointly prepare the first version of the training for youth workers and manual for trainers (IO1), present reports from the mapping of needs in partner countries and incorporate the results into the creation of outputs, prepare a basic version of other outputs and plan in detail the next steps in the project implementation.
The training in Poland was organized for two groups of participants during October 2020 online.
