The first project meeting took place according to the plan from 21 to 22 November 2019 in Slovakia, in Banská Bystrica. The meeting was attended by all project partners, the participants were the persons responsible for the project and its implementation.
The aim of the meeting was to get to know the project partners and their representatives, to present the partners' experiences in the field of service-learning, to agree on the common rules within the project, the tasks of the individual partners, and the timetable of the project. The meeting also aimed to develop a common vision of project outputs and agree on their creation and basic structure and prepare the first draft of the IO1 output. The meeting followed the training of service trainers learning. At the beginning of the meeting, the participants clarified the expectations from the meeting and agreed on the program. The project coordinator then presented the main lines of the project - its goals, intellectual outputs, time schedule of the overall project, and individual project meetings. At the same time, the partners agreed on project monitoring and target quantitative indicators as planned in the project application. In the next part of the meeting, the participants worked together on the exercise Impact of the project on levels and agreed on the roles of project coordinator, partners, intellectual output coordinator, and partners in creating outputs and basic rules of communication and documentation. In the next part, the project coordinator presented the basic dissemination activities of the project and the partners agreed on the elaboration dissemination plans.
As part of the work on intellectual outputs, the partners agreed on basic topics and chapters and shared responsibilities for their processing. At the same time, they prepared a detailed work plan for the first output - Training for youth workers in the field of service-learning and a manual for trainers. During the second day, the participants of the meeting focused on the financial management of the project, payments, and the way of reporting individual project activities. The financial project manager presented the individual financial management tools and the necessary documents in this area. At the end of the meeting, the participants evaluated the meeting and summarized the tasks at the nearest period.
Others
The fifth project meeting was held on November 16 and 17, 2021, in hybrid form. The meeting aimed to evaluate pilot activities within the project and outputs testing, based on the testing of the results, make their final adjustments, and plan the multiplication event of the project - the final conference.
The training in service-learning for youth workers took part online from 8- to 9 January 2021.
Training of Trainers was organized in connection with the first project meeting in Slovakia from 18 to 20 November 2019.
Partners from four countries (Poland, Hungary, Romania, Croatia) participated in the training of trainers in service-learning. Alžbeta Brozmanova Gregorová (PDCO) led the training together with colleagues from Matej Bel University in Banská Bystrica from Slovakia.
The third project meeting took place according to plan on September 17 and 18, 2020. Due to the COVID pandemic, the meeting was held online and was attended by representatives of all project partners. The aim of the meeting was mainly to discuss the partners' plans for the implementation of Service-learning training in youth work and the possibilities of implementation of training Service-learning in work with youth in the online form, in case it will not be possible to carry out the training physically; finalize intellectual outputs of IO2 and IO3 to agree on the basic concept and structure of the changed IO4 output. A separate part of the meeting was devoted to issues related to the financial management of the project.
